The Vicmarc VL240 ASM EVS woodturning lathe is a sturdy machine designed to make turning larger wood blocks easier. With its reduced vibration, electronic variable speed and adjustable height positioning capabilities, this woodturning lathe makes an excellent addition to any serious woodturner’s workshop.
Designed with a 1.5kW motor, the Vicmarc VL240 ASM EVS has a higher torque at a lower RPM, which allows for more control when turning the inside of a bowl or vessel. Equally, the Vicamrc VL240 features a swivel headstock that can be positioned 90 degrees, with four individual pin-lock positions at 22.5-degree increments, or will lock down at any set position, which allows for intricate turning. The Vicmarc VL240 ASM EVS Lathe also features an ergonomic tool rest, which removes awkward tool positioning and allows woodturners to turn more comfortably.
