Designed to take away the stress of hollow form turning. Will fit on all flatbed lathes with center height up to 12” (24” swing) (Extra long stem available on request) Extra clamping plate needed and available for round bed bar lathes such as Record. The standard jig comes with an Arm, stem, clamping plate, and reducer sleeve. The jig will take 19mm and 16mm round bar tools. The jig with MY 19mm hollowing bars will hollow up to 16" deep max. (Laser/camera bars not included)

    Just made my first vase and the Jig is excellent. I quickly developed confidence cutting inside the vase.

    Well engineered. Sturdy. Easy to use.

    Turn hollow forms with ease !!

    My favourite turnings, without question, are thin walled, often pierced, large hollow forms. To achieve these forms I’ve used Rolly Munro tools, Gouges, homebrew tools and often the RS2000 arm brace (a catch with this can be quite spectacular!).
    None of the above come close to the ease and speed that is achieved with the Easy Arm system.
    The tool itself is clearly engineered to cope with very large turnings, heavy gauge steel plates, large diameter rods and bolts ensuring an absolutely solid and stable, articulated, height adjustable tool. The carbide cutter can be introduced to the vessel wall at varying angles of attack and removes material very quickly indeed. No longer any need for a two handed, white knuckle grip as used with previous cutting tools, the Easy Arm take all of the strain out of hollowing process and gives you very fine control. Changing the cutter for a tear drop or negative rake enables a fine finish. I’m even using it on much smaller hollow forms and boxes, using a smaller diameter round bar / collet arrangement.
    The greatest effort now is extracting the waste from inside the workpiece!
    A pleasure to use and will enable far more turners to take on hollow form turning.
