Vicmarc VM120 chuck including standard jaws and direct M33 x 3.5 thread.
The VM120 T - Bar Allen Key operated chuck allows for one handed tightening along with tremendous gripping power provided by the 5 to 1 ratio of the scroll. Keyed chucks cannot be beaten when is comes to holding power. The totally enclosed back assures consistent, smooth action by preventing dust and debris from getting into the scroll and moving parts of the chuck.
The backing lid is also indexed for those woodturners who do not have an indexing facility on their lathes. The VM120 will hold most work up to 500mm (20") in diameter with standard jaws.
Standard jaw measurements are: when fully closed, 48mm internal, 68mm external. Opening up to 110mm external.

This chuck has vastley improved my turning small to large bowls which everyone running true and the tennon not splitting or slipping out of the chuck . The jaws all move easily and are easily changeable. The chuck is also easy to service. I think the price is fine for what you get. Also the hex key movement is better than a sqaure keyed movement as it can be replaced.
